The design registration regulates under the Designs Act, 2000. A shape, pattern, configuration, composition, or ornament of lines or colors is known as a design. 

There are some rules that are to be followed to register your design under the Designs Act 2001

• New and original design
• Should relate to shape, pattern, or ornament applied to an article.
• Must be visible and should appear in the article.
• Must applied by an industrial process.

• Declaration
